Driver Agreement

Last updated: June 15, 2026

This Agreement is provided for transparency and is not legal advice. VoltShare is an early-stage product and this Agreement may change as the service evolves. Please read it carefully — it includes important responsibilities, an assumption of risk, and an indemnification obligation.

This Driver Agreement supplements the VoltShare Terms of Use (“Terms”) — the agreement between you and Inova Studio LLC, which operates VoltShare — and applies when you book or use a charging Station on the Platform. Capitalized terms have the meanings given in the Terms. If this Agreement conflicts with the Terms on a Driver-specific point, this Agreement controls.

1. Driver eligibility

You represent that you are at least 18, hold a valid driver’s license and the insurance required for your vehicle, and are responsible for operating your vehicle lawfully.

2. Vehicle and compatibility

2.1 You are responsible for confirming that a Station is compatible with your vehicle, including connector type and any required adapter or, for outlet-type listings (e.g., NEMA 14-50), your own portable charging cord (EVSE).

2.2 VoltShare does not inspect Stations and does not warrant compatibility, condition, power output, or safety. You use a Station at your own risk.

3. Bookings, access, and conduct at the premises

3.1 You will only access a Station with a confirmed Booking, during your reserved window, and in accordance with the Host’s access instructions.

3.2 You will treat the Host’s property with care: park only where directed, do not block access, do not enter areas beyond the charging area, keep noise to a minimum, and leave on time.

3.3 You will keep the Host’s exact address and any access code confidential, use them only for that Booking, and not return without a new Booking.

4. Payments

4.1 When you book, your payment method is authorized for an estimated amount. At Session end, the final amount — based on the energy actually delivered plus any applicable Service Fee (a percentage of the session cost, shown before you confirm your Booking; current fee ranges are disclosed in the Services and may change with notice) and taxes — is captured, not to exceed the authorized amount without your consent.

4.2 You acknowledge that energy measurement may be manual or estimated (“honor-system”) until metered measurement is offered, and that disputes are handled per §6 and the cancellation and no-show terms presented at the time of booking (see our Terms of Use).

5. Cancellations and no-shows

Driver cancellations and no-shows are governed by the cancellation and no-show terms presented at the time of booking, including any fee for late cancellation or no-show. These terms may vary by listing and are described in our Terms of Use.

6. Damage, safety, and responsibility

6.1 You assume the risks inherent in charging at a private residence using equipment VoltShare does not own or control, including electrical and property risks.

6.2 You are responsible for any damage you cause to a Host’s property or equipment and will indemnify and hold harmless VoltShare and Inova Studio LLC per the Terms for claims arising from your use of a Station, your vehicle, or your breach of this Agreement.

6.3 Report any safety issue, equipment problem, or incident through the Platform promptly.

7. Reviews and conduct

You may leave reviews that reflect genuine experiences and must not harass, discriminate against, or endanger Hosts or others. Misuse may result in account action.

8. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your access for violations of the Terms or this Agreement, safety concerns, or improper chargebacks. You may stop using the Platform at any time, subject to obligations for completed or confirmed Bookings.
