Do I need a special charger to host?
Any Level 2 home charger works. During setup we walk you through connecting it, setting your hours, and pricing — most hosts are live within a day.
How do I list my charger?
Add your charger from the host dashboard: confirm its connector and speed, drop a pin, add a photo, and describe access (driveway, garage, gate code). Your exact address stays hidden until a driver books.
How do I set my hours and price?
You set a weekly availability schedule and your own rate per kWh. Change either at any time — bookings already confirmed keep the terms they were made under.
How much can I earn as a host?
It depends on your rate and how many hours you open up, but active hosts in busy areas commonly earn $150–$600 a month. You keep the majority of every session; VoltShare takes a small platform fee. Payouts arrive weekly by direct deposit.
Do I have to be home for a session?
No. As long as the driver can reach the charger using the access notes you provide, sessions run on their own. You can see upcoming and active bookings from your dashboard.
